Middlewich Leisure Centre is a bustling facility with lost of events and activities taking place on a regular basis, it is found on the site of Middlewich High School in the heart of this Cheshire town. The leisure centre has a positive partnership with the school that allows both establishments to thrive.
Middlewich leisure centre is home to a Sports hall and state of the art 3G all weather pitch, they also house a function room that can be hired for use after events and parties.
To use the function room the Leisure centre offer deals and discounted prices when parties or events use either the sports hall or the artificial combined with a function room. This would cost £50.00, having an hour and a half on the pitch and 30mins in the function room!
Most people prepare their own food, or get a delivery from dominoes, as this can be delivered to the centre in time for the party/event finishing.
Middlewich Leisure centre is home to some high quality facilities that you can easily access for your party, event or function. There is a full size 3G on site that can be used for parties events and other activities, the artificial pitch is currently used by Middlewich FC and Witton Albion FC for their teams training in the week.
To hire of 1/3 of the 3G pitch at weekends it costs £16.20 per hour for juniors and £31.90 per hour for adults. To hire the sports hall for a party, event or function at the weekend it costs £36.20 per hour for juniors and £40.80 per hour for adults.
The opening times of the leisure centre are as follows;
- Monday to Friday 9am – 10.30pm
- Saturday & Sunday 9am – 7.30pm
If you use the fitness suite, the last entry is 30 minutes before the closing time on that day!
The leisure centre is easily accessible for people in the local area, people travelling from distance can also access the centre easily as it is a short 8 minute drive from junction 18 on the M6. To find the centre in the town you must turn down Sutton Lane off the A533, then taking a right onto St Anne’s road before taking another right onto King Edwards street and the centre is on your right after 100m on St Anne’s walk!
There are many nice places to eat in Middlewich, The Big Lock pub & restaurant is a family freindly dining room, lounge, snug and bar, it has many functions to suite different people all with a freindly welcoming atmosphere. If you dont fancy a sit down meal and want to replace the energy burned at the centre, why not try the Middlewich Fryer, a chip shop run by locals, consistently providing good food for the town!
